Just a fun thread - do you have any moments to share when you were glad no-one had a camera????
I'll start.....
This summer hubby and I decided to buy bikes, neither of us had been on a bike for 27 years so we were hoping the phrase "it's just like riding a bike were true".
We have a narrow path outside our front door which I had seen hubby ride down, but I didn't feel confident manoeuvering around the bushes on either side (it's only about 15 inches wide) so I pushed mine along there.
Well....feeling brave while hubby was wrestling with putting his bike into the back of our car, I thought I'd have a go at riding down the path.
Wish I hadn't now
I took it slowly, then stopped and needed to put my foot down.....but I forgot the border with the tiny bushes in was lower than the path and ended up on falling right over the top of the bushes, on my butt in a patch of clover on the grass with the bike on top of me.
Hubby looked round and all he could see was me doing my upside down turtle impression on the grass, laughing my head off
It didn't make it any better that in justifying my decision I said, "I knew I couldn't ride down that path like you do and I was right"
I'm just glad that he didn't have a camera with him and that the neighbours can't see our front garden!
I bet you have funnier moments than that which you were happy not to have caught on film........
