Compared to the ones online mine was just slight twitching. Is it still seizures or is it a different cause.

There is also something called hyperesthesia that can cause the skin to "crawl" and tails to twitch. How is your cat acting? Eating/drinking? Using the litter box? Next time try to get the episode on video. This way you can show your vet what is happening.
