I'm a computer geek! What are Excel and Outlook used for?

Mom, sis & I took a Lotus 1-2-3 course back in 1990 so I can use Excel a little. Done some of our Lapidary Society things on it like the budget.

I have not used Outlook in any form and from what I read earlier in this thread I am so glad!

I like it for work- I love Excel too- I use it all the time!

Outlook is Email generally used in offices, Excel makes Spread Sheets and is generally The Devil Incarnate. They are part of Microsoft Office.

I can't believe you've never used them! Every job interview/ad I've seen requires applicants to be proficient at MS Office and I had to take a class in it to graduate college (although, I still kind of stink at Excel...it goes bananas on me occassionally, and I can't wrangle it back into behaving. So I swear at it.)
