Yes. One of my greatest fears is of dying. Also, I want to experience the more futuristic times. Of course I would like a couple of other people I really care about to also be immortal along with me.
Twilight has sparked an interest in vampires for me too! They are amazing.Originally Posted by valanhb
Ivampires too!
No interest in being a vampire here... though I don't think I'd want anyone chasing me around with a sword trying to chop my head off either.Originally Posted by clixpix
I have to say I'm surprised. I really thought the vast majority would say "no". I think it's being skewed by the Twilight series...there seems to be a preponderance of requests to be a vampire!
That's because they're based on young adult fiction, unlike Anne Rice's books which definitely are not. Somewhat related - has anyone read Alice Borchardt's books? She's Anne Rice's sister and unlike Anne Rice, her books aren't as "clunky" (something more obvious in Rice's earlier books) - she writes some paranormal type fiction.Originally Posted by zorana_dragonky
Vampires are great in fiction! I love Anne Rice's novels, and I agree they are better than all the films involved, and much more complex than Twilight.
Ahh, I could not get into Anne Rice's books. But I will have a look into Alice Borchardts's - paranormal stuff interests me.Originally Posted by strange_wings
