I've also learned good parenting skills.... what it's like, for instance, to sit up all night with a sick baby, just to make sure that they are comfortable and sleeping OK (did that Sat. night)

If having a cat has taught me nothing else, it's taught me....

That I like cats more than I like people (unless it's people who like cats).

That I cannot take a shower or be in the bathroom alone without one of them with me to keep me company. If I try, it just feels weird.

That sometimes, it's just fun as heck to run through the house making weird noises, even if your only purpose of doing so is to lie down & sleep afterwards.

That fake mice with little beads inside of them are more fun than real mice.

That cats are very good listeners who will never judge me or make fun of me.

That when I wake up in the middle of the night and see my cats surrounding me & purring cuz they are happy to be with me, I am a really lucky gal to be loved by each and every one of them!

That my cats like to make me twitch!!! Like when I come home, and they are all hidden and scare me, thinking something terrible has happened. I think they conspire and do it on purpose!!!
