I'm trying to tell how far a long my cat is. She looks like she ate a bowling ball, Her nipples are getting a lot bigger and they are redish pink and it looks like there is a white film on them.I can see and feel the kittens moving around, She looks uncomfortable because her tummy is so bigs. she will lay in one spot for a lil while and then go somewhere else. She has also eating a ton of food. She has been romaing around my bedroom and bathroom I think she is trying to find a place to have the kittens. Today I have noticed that her tummy is hard. Any help would  be appriceated!!

It sounds like she's nesting, which typically happens a day or two before labor. Have you set up a birthing bed for her? Like a box with a towel or blanket? You may want to go ahead and confine her to the room you want her to birth in, setting up the birthing box there. Soon before labor, there should be a discharge and she'll likely start licking her abdomen and vagina persistently and she'll also stop eating.

How old is she?

This was an accidental pregnancy. Plan on getting them both fixed
Them both?  If you have an unneutered cat other than her please execute the plan and get him or her neutered ASAP.

Since you don't know when she mated it's a case of she will have them when she has them.  Remember she might get pregnant again very soon after delivery unless you make sure she doesn't go out.  If you have a male cat remember he can still get females pregnant for several weeks after he is neutered.

I too think its nearing.  She has began with searching for a nest  (you do have some prepared or??)

The hardening of the belly hints too it is just days left now.

Some useful links I stole from my collegues:

 One from this site:  http://www.thecatsite.com/a/pregnancy-and-delivery-in-cats

http://www.icatcare.org/advice/my-cat-having-kittens    ( This is a link to a group of articles on cat pregnancy, birth and kittens.   Read the ones on normal cat birth and on " when to wait and when to worry"  )

Good luck!

I still dont know if she was having contractions or not. she has been moving all around my bedroom and licking her tummy and private area. it looks like the kittnens are doing flips in her tummy and her stomach is still really hard.

Oh, she's about to give birth. That licking is an indication that it's going to start very soon. Do you have a birthing bed set up for her? Like a box with a blanket or towel for her to deliver in?

They can have some precontractions too.  So unless you see it is clearly labor...  Panting, visibly unease, and so on...

Cats labor is usually shorter than human labor, so we dont like long unfruitful labors...  Contact your vet if its intense and prolonged.  The vet will know what follow up questions to give.

Congrats!   Well done!   *beaming*

Wishing good health to mom and babies!

They are all white, but mom is a blackie?   The chance is big they are points.  If so, the mask will beginning to be visible in a week, but may be later.

The genetics will probably be the father is a point, and mom is a carrier.   This will typically give half of the kittens points, half carriers.  But the statistics arent ironclad.

It MAY be both are carriers, but this will give typically one of fourth being point.

OR you are awaiting more kittens to come, to make the statistics more even. Blackies perhaps.    :)

Good luck!
