I will never forget Simba

Simba was my first cat. I got him when I was 2 years old. He was the best orange tabby I had ever seen, King of the house, nobody messed with him. He passed in 2011 on May 7th. He lived to be 16 years old and had a happy full life. I still think of him all the time. Rest in peace buddy. I just wanted to post a little memory of him since it's coming up on 2 years since his death.

Thank you for sharing Simba with us, he sounds like a wonderful cat. It's nice you remember him like this, I hope to some day remember my Chrissy with smiles instead of tears. You learn to adjust, to learn a new normal, but we will never forget our furbabies, they are forever stamped onto our hearts! I pray our babies are waiting and playing at the Rainbow Bridge!

It's a long hard process to go from tears to smiles. 1 year after he passed I got my Lucy, and then a few months later my Little Kitty. Having them helped me heal as well. I also keep photos of Simba out and framed so he is always part of my house.
