So I have had my 2 years old female cat Butterscotch for about 24 hours and overall she's doing very well. Anyways, the old owners for the last 2 years have been feeding her Friskies Indoor Delight. I hate feeding her this junk, but was told by the vet that since she was just spayed on Monday and that she's in a new environment getting use to it, one thing at a time. They explained to me how to gradually take her off of the Friskies and onto the grain free food that I feed my other 2 cats.
What I'm going to do however is supplement the Friskies with a wet food and at least this way she will be getting some extra nutrients that she needs.
