It's not that I'm not willing to make the drive, it's that I can't. I get panic attacks on the freeway. Severe ones, where I hyperventillate (sp), and almost pass out. It's hard to explain, if you don't have this problem, and a lot of people don't understand this problem. I would love to be able to take the drive. I would love to be free to do things like this. I am even avoiding a Kiss concert this October, because it would require that I have to go to San Bernardino, which is considerably closer than San Diego. I hate being like this, but I would be a danger not only to myself, but to other motorists. So, unless something is local, or unless I can get someone to drive me, I am usually out of luck, and I miss out on a lot of things.Originally posted by uabassoon
I just don't understand why you are willing to spend $1000 on a cat from a pet store just because it's a Bengal, but you aren't willing to make a drive to get one that needs a home and 3 hours each way really isn't that long of a drive. At least if this is something you really want.
