The home is not at all sterile. It has character. Many buyers find it hard to look past "homey" clutter when house hunting. A few basic high quality healthy plants, candles (this can be tricky too), and sometimes well placed fruit or even well made plastic food can help if placed properly, but these things cost and are oftentimes hard with animals.
