I took Ella last Thursday to be spayed along with one of my the rescue girls. Everything looked like it was healing nicely until last night I went to check the incision and Ella's belly was bloody and there looked like there is a little bit of a gap in the incision. The incision itself is only about an inch long, and they use disable sutures and skin glue so it is tough to tell. Not to mention that she is being snappy and wont really let me look at it, so I think she is in pain. I tried to put a cone on her so she will leave it alone but she somehow managed to escape it. We are going to the vet in an hour to have the vet look at it, but I don't know how I can keep it from happening again or how to get her to leave it alone, I'm not even sure how she did it in the first place, I was at work.
To add to the bad luck, I think the girls brought home a bug, I know have sneezey watery eyed cats.
