I survived the dentist! (barely)

Way to go! Another dental phobe faces her fears!

I finally went to see the dentist after (mumbles) years and I too got away pretty clean! One of my oldest fillings was loose, the tooth around it cracked in the back. So I'm getting a crown. I had the first part of the crown done yesterday. I had the filling removed and the tooth made smaller so the crown will fit over it. I have a temporary crown for 2 weeks.

Fwan, I wish dental coverage pays for everything! For the crown, its $400 out of my pocket. My insurance only covers half.

I am one of those crazy people who don't mind going to the dentist. The dental hygenist talks about her cats and me -with mouth open says (Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaah)-you get the drift.
I have good teeth-never needed braces. Only 2 wisdom teeth-they were straight too!!
I also have a bridge-I actually had a baby tooth and it cracked and had to be removed about 2-3 months before my dental insurance kicked in. That was a chunk of money!!!
But really haven't have any problems for quite some time!!
