The twins (one is mine, the other belongs to my daughter) were spayed yesterday. Our vet prefers that we use shredded paper for the litterbox after any surgery to decrease the chance of infection.
So I thought I should change both boxes out before surgery to give them a change to adapt it. Sunday night, the boxes were cleaned and litter switched out.
Monday morning, the upstair's litterbox was on the opposite side of the room, on its side, with newspaper strewn across the room. Zoey was mad.
We replaced the clay litter for Zoey and she promptly used the litterbox.
I guess I will keep that door closed, except when I take Zoey up there to use it. The twins will just have to use the one downstairs with the paper.
