I say if the screen idea does'nt work, a good rock will do the trick. The sticks up the side sound like a good idea as well.

What we do with the pool is leave the hose hanging in it so they can climb out. Maybe you can hang a rope or chain down in the water, put a little rock on each end to keep it still

EDIT: another idea.... some water lilys or other type of plant that grows in water.

oh...

maybe some kind of fake plant? something that floats? I think a nice sized rock would be you best bet though. It won't move around, and you won't have to clean it lol

That's right Sammy......they're flying in and drowning.......

One of Jerry's firefighter buddies told him to put an owl out there to scare the other birds. They sell big plastic owls, but I have no idea where to get them............
