They will not eat dry food, wet food, tuna, baby food, salmon, or kitty kavair. So I have been feeding them campground food- pieces of steak, scrambled eggs and cheese, hot dogs cooked and mashed- they are scarfing that up. I put some aquarium rocks in their water and now they are drinking. I had the one female with the exclamation mark marking on her nose in my lap this morning- the two long hairs are still glued together and growling and hissing at me all the time-
Once again, MA shows us how to think like a cat. They came from a campground, so they eat campground food. I would never have thought of that, I am sure, but it is obvious, once you get it.
They are lovely, although I think they look pretty scared in those photos. Poor babies!
Does the cat room just stay empty when there are no "visitors"?
No the cat room is rarely empty. All my cats have started out there, so they call it home- The door is always open when there are no new cats coming in so they go in and out at will- there has been a flurry of activity at the door when I am inside with the new group - pictures below
Meet India- so named because the mark on her nose reminds me of paintbrush applying india ink-
I've been neglecting FurPictures and just look what I missed!! MA, those sweeties are gorgeous and coming along nicely! If you're a stray kitty you can do lots worse than find yourself in MA's Cat Room! -- and not much better!
