I need help with this riddle

I turn polar bears white
and I will make you cry.
I make guys have to pee
and girls comb their hair.
I make celebrities look stupid
and normal people look like celebrities.
I turn pancakes brown
and make your champane bubble.
If you sqeeze me, I'll pop.
If you look at me, you'll pop.
Can you guess the riddle?

I think the answer is "I don't know or no" It is the question that is the riddle. If you ask the Harvard graduates, they will not admit that they do not know, but if you ask a kid, they will tell you they don't know. That is my thoughts

No is the correct answer you are answering the "can you solve the riddle?" part. Thats what a little kid would say as for the Harvard student they would start to think and guess straight coming up with wrong answers.

No actually makes sense. We are all overthinking this here. I think No is the answer to. I mean little kids don't know how to do logical thinking yet so they take the question at face value. Can you answer the riddle? NO they can't.
Harvard students and us know logical thinking. We are to busy trying to logically figure the first parts out and not answering the question that is actually the riddle!!

I don't think that this riddle is solvable. I really think that the riddle is "Can you solve it?"

But I'm game anyway!
What turns polar bears white? Light? Snow? Their genes?
I will make you cry? Onions? Stress?
I make guys have to pee? Water? Beer? Car trips?
Girls comb their hair? Rain? Compulsion?
I make celebrities look stupid and normal people look like celebrities? This fits nicely into the "rain/water" idea. (Crying is water, right?)
I turn pancakes brown? Heat? Butter?
Make your champagne bubble? oxygen? fermentation? air pressure?
The squeezing thing is totally out of left field here. the Sun?
The answer to each of these pairs could probably be firgured out, but not all together.
