We mentioned in our posts above that if the kittens are not eating the mush that they are probably not ready. Why don't you wait a week and try the weaning again then? They are on the young side! Otherwise, your method of presenting the mush is fine. They are just not ready yet.

Have your neighbor sign a consent form ahead of time. You can either pick it up from the vet's office, or write her agreement to allow you to spay the cat on a piece of paper and have her sign it. Bring that with you. Most cats do fine during spay surgery. When is it scheduled?

Thanks for your reply, i think i will try and schedule it for 5th May .

I did not know that the vets did consent forms. Thank you for that.

Yes, they always have the customer sign a consent form before treating any animal.
