Wow, congratulations!!!! If it comes with no software, you should install (free) Ubuntu operating system on it. It's much less likely to get problems than Windows OS, and is very user friendly.

Well, it took awhile but I finally picked it up today. It is a Dell Inspiron with Windows 7. I've given it to my hubby for his birthday which is coming up so he will set it up for himself. It is a shiny black colour and he loves it. I have my lovely pink one and am very happy with it.
