Taylor and Gunner are great kitties with unique habits. I just felt like sharing what my boys do.
Taylor always greets me at the door when I get home. Gunner continues to take his nap in my bed most of the time.
Taylor likes to be in the same room as me 95% of the time. If I am sitting on the couch in the living room with my legs propped up on the ottoman, he likes to curl up into a ball between my legs. I swear he generates enough heat to warm a small city when he gets in that position.
If I pet Taylor while he is in this position he usually tries to clean my hand.
Depending on how I am sitting on the couch, Gunner wants to sit on the back of the couch with his butt on the couch and the front part of his body on my shoulder. I think he likes surfing the web with me.
Otherwise, he likes to lay as close to my face on my body as he can.
Gunner will give my hand little love bites if I am petting him and stop, but he still wants more. Gunner LOVES neck and ear scritches! Taylor does not like neck scritches. He does like ear scritches but not all the time.
Gunner always sleeps in the bed when I go to sleep. He usually visits me at the head of the bed for a bit and then settles down at the foot of the bed. Taylor usually likes to curl up in my pants, sweats, shirt, or whatever I throw on the floor before I go to bed. On the weekends when I wakeup, Gunner and Taylor are usually sleeping in the bed with me. I think I get up too early during the week for Taylor. LOL
When Taylor was younger, he used to LOVE licking the water off my feet and ankles after I got out of the shower. He has outgrown that habit.
When I get out of the shower and I am getting dressed in my room, Taylor lays in front of my closets on his side. We've developed a routine where I pet him with my foot for a little bit.
Both of them are talkative. Taylor will squeak on occassion and I can usually get him to talk to me if I make eye contact with him. Gunner talks all the time, especially when he wants wet food.
If I find a plastic bag somewhere in the house where it should not be, I know Taylor did it. If I find toilet paper shreddings, I know Taylor did that too.
If I accidentally leave cat treats out and find the plastic can/bag all chewed to death, I know Gunner did that.
They both make biscuits on me when they are getting "me" fluffed up for their lounge spot.
I'm sure there are other things I'm not thinking of right now, but this post is too long already.
