Ezra is my daughter's cat. He is 13, has a bad eye, had bad liver values and is here with me. My daughter and family sold their apt, but the house they were buying fell through. They are living with various people and couldn't take Ezra with them.
After a vet trip, it was decided that Ezra was not going to get better. I've been syringe feeding him several times a day. He sits in the window, watches birds and butterflies, purrs when you look at him and doesn't mind the feedings at all. When we're done, he hops back on the chair near the window to watch the back yard.
I don''t know what to do. He is all bones and fur, doesn't seem to be in pain and doesn't seem to want to go to the bridge. Does anyone have advice for us? He is the sweetest cat. When I pick him up, he puts is front paws on my shoulder, purrs in my ear and gives headbutts to my cheek.
Thanks for any help you can give me.
