Little escapes are good. I remember being at college on 9/11 and a bunch of us watched a movie in someone's room that afternoon to "escape" everything. The news that day was SO overwhelming!!!! I never regret "escaping" that day for 2 hours.
Go for a long walk, giving you time to prioritise and figure out what things need to be dealt with in which order. The walk will help you relax and its easier to deal with things once you have some perspective
