Hi Di and Bob, 

thanks for the reply...glad to hear that because it makes me nauseous to think there's something living, like a cat, suffocating in there. 

Have nuisance nabbers coming out tomorrow . This guy was very helpful finding a cat that was trapped in the basement betwn the insulation and the outdoors...my cat I had then was the one who kept meowing and dragging me downstairs and pointing out the cat hiding at the back of the crawlspace...He didn't want to share, I guess.
