I got the job!

Remember my weird interview? Well I guess it paid off.

I am now a government employee!

It's for County Animal services. I am so freakin excited.

The benefits are crazy good. I went from none to the hostess with the mostess!

This is everything I have worked for, for the past two years. Now it's just a matter of time before I become an Animal Control officer. I am just so excited to start.

They invited me to a BBQ at their shelter today. It was so much fun. I was really nervous and will be but the sooner you get in their socializing with people, the more comfortable you will be.

Oddly enough they didn't drug test me, which is really weird. I mean I have had to take a UA for just about every job I have ever had. Why not a county job?

Anyway, thanks for those who wish me good luck. Apparantly it worked.

Did they say you have to take a pee test? Perhaps its written that way but they really don't.

Heck I've even worked one place where they hired you, filled out the paperwork THEN sent you to pee in a cup.

Congrats on the new job, it sounds great!! It is kind of weird about the drug test though. Maybe they will spring that on you later, when you're least expecting it. Or, do they have random drug testing?
