Glad you're feeling good about your decision. And don't be surprised if she doesn't go into the catio right away. She is a cat, after all, and they don't always respond the way we expect them to. ;)

:hyper: Walli was in the Catio this morning, I am just elated!!!!!
She is still freaked out, but we can now start over in the right way.
mistakes were made, but I hope I'm on the right track now.
Now to get Joey and Walli to be friends, I'm going to take my time and do it right.
I thank all of you for listening to me, It has been a tremendous stress.
I fed her breakfast in the office, didn't see her, thought she was hiding.
Looked in the Catio and she was there! Hiding in the only place to hide in the catio! sheesh what a relief, I'm so happy she is in the fresh air and sunshine today!

Yay Walli! Did she find her way into the Catio all by herself or did you put a trail of treats? Has she found her way back into the office yet?

She found her own way in while we were sleeping.
I'm wondering if she might not come in till were sleeping for a few days.
I did leave some treats on my desk, will see if she got them today.
Plus her breakfast is there too. She ate some dinner last night and used the litter box and drank water, she barely ate or drank for 3 days!!

She only has access to the office and catio right now, we all need to calm down.
Joey has the run of the rest of the house for now, but we will put the baby gates up when Walli calms down, don't think she wants to expand right now anyway.
shee wiz what a relief! I'm so glad that is over!

Sounds like a great plan. What has Joey been up to? Are he and your husband friends after what happened?

Yes they are friends, I'm trying to back away a little and let Joey be my
husbands cat, My husband does like him. He's a pretty cool cat, just young and active!

Walli obviously came in and ate her dinner and got the dry food out of
the treat ball, she may have played a little too.
She is still stressed so it's going to take time.
I did ask the vet to approximate her age, but they didn't say anything
I guess I will have to call them.

Sounds like she's doing good, all things considered.

She is doing ok, she comes in only when we are not home and in bed.
Little concerned as I can only talk to her outside. She seems to not be as freaked out, she is such a feral cat tho. I am going to put the baby gates up so she can have access to more of the house, I don't think she wants it right now tho.
Mostly because of Joey I think, We are trying to figure out how to put the baby gates up and down easily to allow the 2 cats roaming time. Baby gates up at night for Walli and Down during the day for Joey. I will post a drawing of our house and maybe I can get some input. You think it is ok to leave her in the Catio/Office for another week?

If she's staying mostly in the catio, she probably won't even notice she doesn't have access to more of the house. Hopefully once she gets over the newness of the catio, she'll start hanging out with you guys more.

Joey is doing good, Walli is not.
It has been 2 weeks since we got home from the 3 days in the crate/vet visit.
She stays in the Catio till we go to bed, and she hides in the part we can't see her I switched the office furniture and her old bedroom furniture on monday so she might be more comfortable. She only has access to her new room and the catio. I am going to put baby gates up this weekend but I seriously don't think she even wants to come out. I'm really feeling bad/guilty for her, I think a lot of it is because we have Joey now too, she prolly sees him roaming around the house at night (her door is a sliding glass window)

She is mad at me and seems like she doesn't like me, I can't socialize with her the way she is hiding right now, I hope she forgives soon.

I don't know what to do, If anyone in San Diego is reading this and can help me
Help!:)
