Last weekend a local animal advocates group was holding a microchip clinic. They charged $20 per cat (much less than my vet wanted to charge), so I decided to bring everyone! Emily had a little bleeding afterward, but they were all fine!
Even though the animal advocates group keeps all of our microchip and contact information, we also decided to pay $50 (the price for multiple cats) to Avid (the microchip company) so that they would keep our contact information as well.
I feel a lot safer now! Since they are indoor-only, I took off their collars and will probably only put them back on when we go out of town. Now their fur is matted down where their collars used to be. I tried to brush it out but it didn't work. Will that fix itself?
