Yep same thing has happened to ours.. only we cant have the verticle ones either because our dogs like to grab them for a game of tug. We just gave up!

I think I go through about 3-5 sets of blinds a year. Between Sylvestor(RIP) and now Boots, they are tore up so bad. I just... don't care anymore,
They tear them up, and I'm just there to pick up the pieces, literally.
