I showed John how much hair I got off of him, and he was just amazed! I could have probaby gotten a lot more off of him too, but he was tired of the whole ordeal.... I'll brush him again tonight to finish, so we'll see if we have 2 kittens!

he's the only one we brush. usually by force. he has such a thick coat, we get a small kitten's worth of fur each time we brush him. i use the zoom groom when he's more cranky, and the slicker brush when i can. he always feels so much better after a good brushing.
Well this reminded me to brush Lucky & Molly today. I still didn't get as much fur as you with my two kitties combined.

I just got 2x that size off Excalibur this morning! He has such thick fur and he has been leaving chunks of himself behind. He hates being brushed, but for some reason I was able to comb him for 10 to 15 minutes this morning before work. My nose still tickles from cat fur.

So you got just as much fur off him last night?
Snowball actually loves being brushed, and I have to brush him almost every night because he sheds a lot. I start by brushing him all over with the zoom groom, and then I brush him again with a slicker brush.
It works really well.
