Shopping on prednisone is a bad idea too. Although with online shopping these days, and a lack of the ability to sleep, it's REALLY hard to avoid!
My favourite prednisone shopping trip is when I went to the grocery store and bought 5 boxes of triscuits. That's it...just the 5 boxes. And I didn't feel the need to pay for a plastic bag, so I got to carry them all out in a pile. For some reason, my prednisone food is usually crackers of some sort. Last time it was Triscuits and I went through several boxes of them. Lawguy's suggestion to eat salad is a good one, but doesn't work, if like me, you can't eat raw vegetables in large quantities. So, carbs it was!!
