OMG! I forgot about doing that! Mostly I remember wearing oxford cloth shirts rolled up at the sleeves and my brother's knit ties. Oh and jeans so tight you had to lie down to zip them up. WHAT was I thinking?!

CONGRATS, G, on being a top cat!

Jan....was there a hanger involved to assist you with the zipper????
I remember doing that
I also remember having my jeans sewn all the way down the inside of each leg. And then.....I recall being stuck on the bed for a few minutes while I tried desperatly to get off the bed! Yikes......I'm glad that's over!

Congrats Ghyslaine!! You'll be at 1500 before you know it!

I was a heavy metal babe in the 80s, so we hated almost all the bands you guys are talking about.
Although, secretly we may have liked them, it was never admitted in public. I have to say being a "hood" made the fashion thing real easy - 501 button fly Levi's, black t-shirt (preferably from a concert), Levi jean jacket OR black leather biker jacket, and white high top Nike's with laces in them but not laced up. LOL But I did do the super tight jeans thing. I had callouses on my finger from trying to zip those darn things!!

congradulations whiskers mom. I am a young cat. I was so enjoying being a kitten! I would think to myself "I am a kitten" and i would feel all warm and fuzzy inside. But alas...we all have to grow up at some point

Well, Binky, when you make it to 1500 (
) posts you can make your own title. Then you can be a Kitten again.

Just like in real life, being a kitten just doesn't last very long.

Thanks again!!!

I just wanted to say I drove to work this morning with Brian Adams "Summer of '69" blaring in my ears. I loved every moment of that flashback!!!!

Congrats Ghyslaine! Look at my post counts and I never post
And before anyone suspects "foul play" - let me say each and every one is a genuine post... I just happen to be here longer than anyone else

I guess I need to find the time to post again - I believe I'm not even among the top 10 posters anymore!

And as for the bands of the 80's - one word -

Duran Duran Rules!!!

ok - three words
