I wouldn't spend $30 on slippers either, but that's just cause I hardly ever wear mine. If you wear them alot and will get alot of use out of them, then maybe it's worthwhile.

I want a pair of house slippers that are kinda like booties but I wan't them to have a tougher sole then the normal ones because I go outside with them alot. If they don't have what you want, how do you know they are $30?
If they don't have them, then you can't buy them anyway so your $30 is safe!
