The first pic is of Corwin.I noticed he had a small patch of fur missing. At first I thought it was just normal fur loss around his ear. Then, I thought it may be a food allergy as I just changed their food. But, then I noticed it got kind of flakey looking. He also has a VERY small spot on his toe. But, I can't get a clear pic of it

Next is Mia
She has a spot by her ear also.

If you look REAL close to this pic. you can see a spot above her upper lip also.

Last is Lilly. Her's isn't that bad looking because she hasn't rubbed her meds off yet. Also by her ear

Sapphire is sooooooooo long haired that I can't get a pic of hers either.
I would reccomend if you notice ANY hair loss, get them to the Vets to be checed for ring worm.

Yes it does!!! And the bad thing about it, is I am 99.99% sure they got it from the Vets office
But, it is possible it came from the shelter.
I'm just thankful I noticed it as soon as I did.It hasn't been more than 3 days since I first saw it on Corwin.

Just a word of warning...not all ringworm presents in the "typical" form. Damita had it on her ears, but didn't loose much hair. One kitten at the shelter had it on his...nuts. Some gets spots on their bellies, other on their heads. Some get it on their feet. Sometimes it is scabby, sometimes it is just hairloss. I learned the hard way that ringworm can present in a variety of ways.

Here is an article that I found about ring worm in cats
http://nd.essortment.com/catsandringwo_rrmg.htm
another web site with pics of cats infected
http://www.peteducation.com/article....&articleid=223
here is a part from the above article
Some veterinarians have recommended using Program® (the once-a-month flea pill) at a higher dose to treat ringworm in cats, but its efficacy is controversial. It is generally safe, and its use may be warranted in animals that are debilitated or have other serious medical conditions.

So far I don't.But, since I have Bronchitis, the Vet said I am more suseptible (sp) to it.The only good thing that is in my favor, is I'm on Zithromax.
