Her bladder is infection and the vet said it looks like she needs surgery but it has a good chance of killing her.
I do not know what to do.
We have tried so many meds.
We will see the vet in a hour.

Coco is your CRF kitty right? Have you tried Zeniquin? This antibiotic wiped out Zoe's ( my CRF kitty) bladder infection when even Gentamycin wouldn't.
Gent is really bad for kidneys too so not for a CRF kitty.

Sending lots of that you get a good safe course of action for Coco to get better.

Thanks Everyone,
We are doing Baytril again and the vet is going to call the food companys and see if there is a way to have a food made for her that is ok for crf and bladder problems.
There is gook ad blood in it this time.
They want to stop the problem without surgery.

Thanks Everyone,
The vet never called with the results so we will call them tomorrow.
I think she might have crystals again also because she is off the urinary food.
She had blood and a thick dischage on friday.
I have not seen it since she has been on the Baytril.
They are trying to have a food made for her that works for Crf and Bladder problems.

I'm so sorry that I missed this when you originally posted. I will certainly keep your sweet Coco in my prayers. CRF cats really tug at my heart....and I always include them in my daily prayers. You are doing a wonderful job caring for Coco. Hugs to you both.
