I am going to a KISS concert tomorrow night. I am dragging my oldest daughter and my neice with me. I saw KISS before, I was 17 that would be 1977. I am hoping I won't be the only old woman there. I will be thinking of Hope
when I see Paul Stanley.

Lucky you!!!! And you certainly won't be the only 'old' person there as Kiss audiences pretty much run the same age range as Rolling Stones audiences: pre-teens to people in their 80s (blew my socks off when I saw such a wide age range at the only Stones concert I managed to get tickets for). I've already missed one I wanted to see: Ian Tyson, and Moody Blues are coming here too, and another no go, because I don't drive at night anymore.

I don't drive at night either. Luckily my neice lives in the city, so she will drive. I would love to see the Rolling Stones

The first time we saw KISS in concert (back in the 70s), they were amazing! Have a great time!

I grew up idolizing KISS and saw them for the first time on their Reunion Tour in 96. I stopped liking them when they put Eric and Tommy in Peter and Ace's makeup and costumes. I'm sorry, but that is just sacrelige. They should have done their own ideas...

BTW, what is this? Like their 5th or 6th farewell tour? Back in 96, it was "We're doing it for the fans, not the money". I guess that changed....

We saw them in 2004 (I think it was) when they toured with Poison. That was a farewell tour too I think. GREAT show!! They can say "farewell" as many times as they want...would love to see them again!

Glad you had a great time!!

I thought I posted a message, but maybe I didn't. Probably a good thing, because I forgot the last half of the line from a Jimmy Buffett song:

"Don't try to describe a KISS concert, if you've never seen one!"

Hope's life was much shorter and sadder than she deserved -- but through this site, she made so many friends who still love and remember her! I hope she knows.
