I put in my zip code to see what it the shipping is and then we decided on a price to pay. We've gotten a few things from e-bay over the years. I don't usually go on unless I'm looking for something specific. I have a paypal account to use for payment, and that's supposed to be pretty safe.

the Armarkat tree i got on eBay, that's how i did it, too. i checked shipping, decided my maximum price, & put down a bid that didn't go over that maximum once shipping was included. took about 3-5 tries to get a tree, but i got one. it's not that hard, Kenz - the tree was the first thing i ever bought on eBay. i've since bought shoelaces, a butter dish, some makeup & some bath items - you can get the twisted peppermint scent from bath & body works there even tho they don't have it in the stores anymore
