I am glad you still have electricity. I hope it all goes away soon. We had a lot of wind today, but nothing too bad in our immediate area. I kept get emails at work about other parts of the state, road closings, and bridges out.We are stranded In our community. I had a 12:00 doctor appointment, but cancelled now. It is raining and water is over the road every way out of here. I am warm, dry and well fed and the electricity is still working. Thank the Lord.
I have relatives in Columbia and Catawba, SC; my brother has been in contact and they are safe.
That ship that went down, oh my goodness. I think of seeing that type of ship with the big containers from a cruise ship and they are huge. Am holding on to the hope that there are survivors.
This is just so much to take in, with apparently more on the way. I fear for the people in the Bahamas, too, Anderson Cooper said it is comparable to Katrina there.
