My cats woke me up just before 3, and I heard what I thought was a big truck going by on a main road down the street. I had no idea that anything bad had happened until around 6 when I awoke to see breaking news on the TV and HUGE flames coming from a building just a 1/2 mile from my office, and only 3 miles from my home.
When I left my house to go to work this morning, my neighborhood was filled with a very acrid and nasty smell, so I held my breath to get into my truck.
Only 10 people were injured, and none seriously, and no one was killed, thank God. I can't imagine what it must be like to be literally blown out of your bed at 3 a.m.!
