How to spend a happy Caturday.

I just did a search and it’s years since anyone did a Caturday post, so here’s Daisy keeping my legs (and herself) warm while it rains outside. Phoebe meanwhile is asleep on one of her cushions under the bed - I can hear her snoring.

I don't have a photo as much as a thought/wish, of a snowy day, plans of homemade chili for supper, no particular issues or at least none that are high priority for the day, a content cat (), and sports on the television.

Yes, the bedspread is several Noro Ito colourways (that was one hell of an expensive bedspread!). The wool I’m using is Patons Sierra.

It is expensive, I know! I'm chronic.. I'll only use natural wool and love hand-dyed stuff. I have some wool from Tasmanian sheep that graze the open country, and then it's naturally dyed. I'm planning on making a blanket with it. I had to sell my soul to pay for it all.
By the way, I'd love to know how you put the squares together so neatly. Perhaps I should PM you

Brr, handspun and hand dyed are scary expensive! Selling your soul is right.

i didn’t sew the squares together - I knitted it all in one piece. Yes, it weighed a ton after a while. I did it on 8mm needles, so it worked up fairly quickly - took just shy of two months.

Of course I had so much help from Maddie and Phoebe while I was making it.

i got ditched for the office by our wall furnace .graycie will spend the day there sleeping until the first intermission of todays hockey game when its time for her dinner
