It is expensive, I know! I'm chronic.. I'll only use natural wool and love hand-dyed stuff. I have some wool from Tasmanian sheep that graze the open country, and then it's naturally dyed. I'm planning on making a blanket with it. I had to sell my soul to pay for it all. :lol:
By the way, I'd love to know how you put the squares together so neatly. Perhaps I should PM you :)

Brr, handspun and hand dyed are scary expensive! Selling your soul is right.

i didn’t sew the squares together - I knitted it all in one piece. Yes, it weighed a ton after a while. I did it on 8mm needles, so it worked up fairly quickly - took just shy of two months.

Of course I had so much help from Maddie and Phoebe while I was making it.
