My cat had 4 kittens. They're 5 days old. All white. How do I safely mark them so I can tell them apart especially since I need to weigh them everyday. Also since the mom is going to keep grooming them, what area is safe to mark?

There are also non toxic markers that you can use. This is just one example - Amazon.com: Take Your Mark Semi-Permanent Ink Skin Markers 4 Pack : Office Products. From what I have read before, you place the mark in the inside of the ear.
