Hi, wonderful! Do you have; a veterinarian, canned cat food, litter and two boxes, possibly some dry food, treats, toys, both that the cat can play with on it's own and other wand type, a cat tree, and/or a scratcher, and a place for it to be able to get away from everyone and everything if it wants to. If it is a young cat let it have as much food as it wants. Other than that, just lots of love.

Your cat will need a vet for medical care. Ask friends, neighbors, find Yelp reviews, Google search, etc for good vets in your area. There are low cost vet clinics that offer just the basic veterinary needs (shots, wellness exam, etc). You will need a full service vet hopsital if your cat ever needs more intensive treatment for something.
