I brought in a feral kitten, probably 3-4 weeks old, eyes are a little bit blue, but fading. I found her in my shed and waited for hours for the mother to come back. It's getting cold out, and she's been crying, so I'm taking her in. She can walk pretty well - not wobbly as say a 2/3 week old. She licked some wet food, but I also gave her some kitten formula from a bottle, which she lapped up.
Should I stimulate her to try and get her to pee/poo, or should I see if she can go on her own? I've taken in feral kittens, but they've always been able to go on their own, so I'm not sure if I should wait it out or get her to go. I have a tiny tray of oderless clay litter in the cage with her. After I fed her, she started purring and burrowing into the blankets. I just checked on her and she's asleep. I say "she", but I can't really tell the sex yet. Guess I'll find out soon enough if I have to stimulate her.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
