So the neighbor a few houses down, the one who's cat kept scratching my car jumping up on it until I got a car cover ($220) just adopted FIVE more cats and I assume they are all from the same litter as they look like identical tabbies in size and coat.
They are well fed and wear ID collars and all, but problem is that they are outdoor all day except at night, and they almost always without exception end up in my back yard. It makes Wesley and Buttercup a little spazy trying to defend their turf from the cats staring in the house from behind the glass.
I've gone out and banged a big soup spoon on the bottom of a pot I had out but they still come back. Most likely its because I have two bird feeders and a bird bath in the yard which I don't think anyone else in the neighborhood has so there are always tons of birds in my yard.
Ideas short of a super soaker? I know to get rid of the deer eating the plants at my mom's house we got some deer repellant that works. Only concern with a predator scent or something is that occasionally we have the windows open when its nice, and I'd hate to cause a panic in Wesley and Buttercup from the smell.
