I recently got a new kitten, while he was younger he was diagnosed with cat-flue but has since been treated. I brought him home today.
(He is sitting on my lap loafing as we speak)
I noticed some mucus around his eyes and he hasn't eaten or pooped.
It has been 9 hours since we got him as I am writing this email.
All he has wanted to do is sleep, he is 10 weeks old and his zoomies only last around 15 minutes before he settles down.
He is constantly meowing for human attention and only wants to sleep and purr around the humans but I'm getting off topic.
I'm a bit concerned and want to know how I can get him settled in at home in the most least stressful way possible.

It doesn't sound like anything is so wrong, or that you have to do anything different at this point. Its not uncommon for people to have kittens that are a bit off as they recover from an illness. In a few days you might be desperately wishing for this version of your kitten as he buzzes around at light speed causing chaos and driving you a little crazy.

If he doesn't eat or drink for most of a day, I might call the vet up and consult. But most likely this is just about time to recover.
