A feral adopted me about 8 months back. She later gave birth to 3 kittens. About 15 days back street dogs broke her leg. I found her at a neighbour's house. I had to call the rescuers to get her to the hospital since she is scared of otjer people. She managed to escape and hid under a pile stone slabs. Later that night, she escaped. I found her again today after many efforts, she looks very sick. My concern is, whether she still recognizes her kittens ? The kittens (4 months old females) saw her and went to her however she hissed and growled at them. They are playing near the stone slabs where she is right now which means they have recognised her. She is not in a good shape, lost a lot of weight. If the kittens stree her out , she will leave again, which i dont want to happen.
