Mum and babies should be wormed several times. In the UK we normally use Panacur paste or liquid, which is available without a prescription. It's active ingredient is Fenbendazole. Mum can be given Milbemax when pregnant or nursing but AFAIK it's not available in the US, and the kittens can be given Milbemax once they weigh at least .5kg (just over 1 pound). It's prescription only here.
