Ok peeps. I know y'all are all about loving your kitties as much as I do... but I'm having a REAL hard time dealing with a few boundaries. As many of you know, we lost Min a couple months ago and Mik was/is grieving and has become really clingy as well as still meowing in the night but it has lessened.
Minnie was "my baby", thus Mikki was a daddy's girl and hardly ever sat on my lap or snuggled with me...until now! The hard part is, do I continue it as she needs it? I mean, I feel so bad for her that I'll stay in one position all night just to let her cuddle! Or sit in my chair for 2 HOURS just to let her feel secure!
It's almost like I'm afraid to sit down as here she comes... then I put off doing some things for the day! This is all new to me as again, she never gave me the time of day, so I don't want to discourage her, especially since it's obviously all connected with Minnie's passing.
You tell me how to say no to this!!!
