My little boy Bastian is too skinny and not thriving, and my vet recommended I supplement him with KMR. (Original thread here: http://thecatsite.com/forums/showthread.php?t=147630 )
I got some KMR this evening, but I never thought to ask the vet how much to give him. The directions on the can say for weaned kittens to give 2 tablespoons daily per 5lbs of weight, but as he only weighs 1.4lbs I don't think that's right! I've heard that giving him too much could give him loose stools, and I certainly don't want to make him sicker. What is the right amount to be feeding him to supplement the high-calorie canned food the vet gave me? Thanks for your help!
