Under the cats, mostly.
hehehe Tiger answers to pretty much anything and everything - including the expletives when I accidentally stand on him!! I always loved to call Sprocket "Rocket-man" or "Sprocket the Rocket" because he was always that fast
Floss always got called "FlossMoss" or "Flossie", "Fluppet" or "pusscat". I think most of my cats have been called Pusscat at some point, actually.... some have even gone under the name of "Aaaaargh-that-hurts-you-little-ratbag"!

LOL, Eponine is more like a BIG booger when she's being mischevious!

I'm bumping this thread to hear from some of the newbies (and also, I must say, to talk about my own kitties a little more).

Chesty doesn't really have any nicknames, yet. But, since his full name is:
Lt. Gen. Lewis B. "Chesty" Puller,
you might say that his name is his nickname. We talked about calling him "General," but I think he has to grow into it a bit more.

Ziv is Zivvy or Big Boy--nothing too creative.

Eva has the most nicks:
Little Eva
Little Girl
Squeaky--she hardly ever "talks" except when it is time for dinner (wet food!), and then she lets out these teeny, squeaky, impatient little meows. So cute!
Cuddlemonster--most of the time she just lies around, but especially in the morning and during the night, Eva insists that she must be cuddled.
Monkey--when we first got her, her belly had been shaved when the rescue ladies took her in to be spayed (they discovered that she had already been spayed). She also has a habit of really lashing her tail around when we pet her. So, the combo of her black fur/white belly, and her monkey tail, resulted in this name! You can see her white (shaved) belly here--I think she looks a lot like a monkey here:

Guess I can add my new nicknames for Cosette, huh?

She's Cosetti, Cosettie Corvetti, Little Black Cosette (sung to the tune of Little Red Corvette), and Crackhead. The little thing also gets baby talked like crazy!!!!
