We currently have 5 4-5 month old kittens. They were all brought in from our yard (4 feral, one stray) - all are pretty socialized but not 100%. 2 males and 3 females. How should I divide them, assuming I can find home(s)? They are all fixed. Both males are pretty snugly, so I'd like to keep them. Would they be better or worse behavior-wise and tendency to mark territory if they are just 2 males or would one female be just as good? What do the cat gurus say about this?

I'd leave it up to keeping whoever doesn't get adopted. It doesn't really matter what combination they're in as long as they're all fixed and get along. Individual personalities matter more than gender.
