She only gets kibble at the moment. Not sure if you are just feeding only kibble, but I know that much lasts about 2-3 months in my house with my cats eating mostly wet food.
Got it. Thanks!I think it comes out to about 40 days give or take if my math is right but it also depends on the weight and size of the kibble.
It's better to weigh it out for yourself for accuracy.
All bags have nutrition on the label so the answer may be pretty easy to figure out. Not all kibble is the same either - some have more calories than others and 2/3 a cup of one may only be 100 calories while another 200.
If you only go by weight, you may wind up under or overfeeding.
OMG I was so wrong on that calculation. I was basing it on a 6.6 lb bag which is what we buy!Got it. Thanks!
Based on this math, at 2/3 cup a day, a 12lb bag would last about 80 daysA 1lb dry kibble has about 4.4 cups in it so 12 times 4.4 is 52.8 so I hope that helps
I googled 2/3 times 80 it says 53.3 so maybe 79 days lol that's still good amount of days there , I figured out that ratio of 4.4 cups per 1lb back around 2014 I think by measuring out multiple different brands of food some was 4.2 some was 4.6 so I even it out by going by 4.4 bc it's the middle number and most said 4.4 anyway ,I tested it with Nature's variety , Solid gold Falidae (now canidae) ,friskies ,Diamond etcBased on this math, at 2/3 cup a day, a 12lb bag would last about 80 days
My calculations came out close to what sivyaleah says so I'm going to say "Final Answer."Not sure if you are just feeding only kibble, but I know that much lasts about 2-3 months in my house with my cats eating mostly wet food.
