how long do I keep trying the new food?

My vet didnt like eagle pack due to the pork and some of the herbs.. my cat loved it but as she was a senior max cat was better for her and now she eats "sisters" diet of homeade food.. My Zoey is doing well on feline caviar with a little Evo but I am switching her to natural choices oceanfish flavor.. just for availability..

I've heard Eagle Pack is one of the better foods, but only the Holistic version. The other versions a bad, and only the Holistic has ingredients worth eating. I tried it once, but both my cats went through it so fast (2 weeks) so I didn't buy another bag. I might try again, but my Petsmart doesn't sell it (the only good foods it sells for cats is Nutro Natural Choice and Royal Canin)
